Central Colorado Title & Escrow is a full service real estate, title insurance, closing and escrow company which has been serving Chaffee County and the surrounding areas for the past decade. We are now attorney owned and operated, ensuring that we are in the best possible position to facilitate the smooth closing of transactions and to protect against those otherwise hidden or unforeseen problems that can jeopardize real estate deals.

We will hold closings anywhere in Chaffee County, and we provide services for transactions throughout the state of Colorado from our office in Salida. As an independent agent for First American Title Insurance Company, we provide title insurance services for Chaffee, Fremont, Park and Saguache Counties (with more counties expected to be added soon). We also often coordinate title searches and the provision of insurance from other counties throughout the state through our network of industry relationships.

Our title services include basic title searches and related research, owner and lender title insurance commitments and policies, ownership and encumbrance reports (also known as O&Es or property reports), foreclosure guarantees, and litigation guarantees. You can also contact us for access to our extensive database of information and documentation for homeowner’s associations in the area.

Our closing, escrow and settlement services cover the entire spectrum of real estate and business transactions, including purchase, sale, and financing of, as well as investment in, residential, agricultural, ranch, and commercial real estate; vacant land; conservation easements, and business sales and other commercial transactions. We offer 1031 Exchange Accommodation Services for most types of qualifying exchanges, or can refer you to a specialist where appropriate. Central Colorado Title & Escrow is fully insured, including errors and omissions coverage.
